My own opinion is that if you are a B2C organisation and hold lots of external personal data, you have to declare it so those whose data you hold are aware of it. Funky Pigeon, the internet card and gift company, had a cyber incident. Managing the recovery of interfaces with third parties is an important part of your cyber response.

Today I’m going heavy-duty and writing the bulletin about the media response of Amedia AS, a Norwegian print and internet news organisation. They said that “the problems are limited to the systems managed by Amedia’s central IT company, Amedia Teknologi. Amedia’s other systems work as normal”.
