As we are in the business continuity profession, we should already be implementing these practices now rather than later. Think about what you can do to reduce groups of staff coming in contact with each other and remember the risks associated with canteens, break rooms, bathrooms and shared transportation.

I also saw an article on ZDnet about the Indian outsource industry who were relatively unaffected by the power cuts and carried on as normal. As with our bulletin last week we need to keep considering the human aspects of business continuity! My points from this incident are Power grids do go down.
