Shortly after the 9/11 attacks and the anthrax exposures, centers throughout the United States were set up to prepare for and make our nation more resilient. More than 100 people from New York City were among the audience in a large conference room at the Greater New York Hospital Association. I said something like, “Hell, yes!”
