‘Hurricanes are growing stronger much faster’

Less time to prepare for the coming storm.

I’ve shared many times that with earthquakes, we have a “come as you are disaster” with no time to be warned of the oncoming shaking and destruction. I loved the idea of seeing a hurricane brewing out in the ocean days and even weeks in advance. Now that warning period appears to be getting shorter.

“Hurricanes are growing stronger much faster than they did in the 1970s”

One of the troubles with this is that people are not paying attention as much as they have in the past. So much news and sources pinging people that some of the information of oncoming storms can get lost in the mix of information coming at people.
