Disaster Zone Podcast: Information Sharing and Communication Strategies

It is not as easy as it sounds.

People share and withhold information for all sorts of reasons. While communicating with others is what we emergency managers do every day, sometimes who we share information with, how we share it and when we share it can be problematic.

This Disaster Zone podcast, “Information Sharing and Communication Strategies,” is not the usual me interviewing someone else. In this case someone is interviewing me on my thoughts on the topic.

I’m happy to share what I think about the information sharing. One thing is that it can bring you immortality!

Which, on a side note, today, Nov. 18, is the day we will bury my wife of 52 years — Mary. We will all leave this earthly world some day. What will make her “immortal” here on earth is the love she had for her family and then the reputation she left behind for being “sweet,” which is a word people keep using to describe her.

Hug your loved ones today and tell them you love them!
