Pandemic? What pandemic? Oh, that one!
Here’s a quick summary for March 2023 from the
New York Times, for the USA:
- 138,481 Weekly Cases
- 5,713 Daily Hospitalizations
- 1,596 Deaths Weekly
Note that the
NYT is going to switch their counting and rely on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) numbers. One big reason is that most testing is now being done at home and because of that, case counts are not accurate.
Maybe it is another indication that the pandemic is nearing an end.
