Disaster Zone Podcast: ‘Retired from a Paycheck’

Lessons from four decades of studying emergency management.

Retired from a Paycheck” is the latest Disaster Zone podcast.

This podcast was done with a long-serving person who researched emergency management and has written and edited books on the history of our profession. I included a more lengthy bio on Claire Rubin because some of you might not be familiar with her work. I’m guessing if you have a degree in emergency management you will have read one or more of the books she has been involved with.

Podcast description:

“Sometimes it is good to look back at how far we have come and then forward, to where we might be headed in the future. My guest today is Claire Rubin blogs at Recovery Diva, but has a much more extensive connection to all phases of the broader topic of emergency management. We talk in this podcast about a wide variety of topics, to include how professional emergency managers can continue to contribute after our paid careers are finished.
