Messaging the Public About Multiple Storm Systems

Thinking through how to warn people traumatized from past storms.

Some parts of the United States experience multiple disasters in rapid succession. It could be flood after flood, repeated tornadoes, or as in the case below, several hurricanes.

How you formulate your warnings for a population that has already been traumatized by past events and perhaps has not even recovered from the physical impacts of them is something to think about.
