Applying Pandemic Lessons for the Future

It is not the past, it is about future pandemics.

This is one terrific project being accomplished by my parent organization that is getting attention for the good things being accomplished: “A Road Map of Lessons Learned from the COVID Pandemic.”

This is not your typical after action report. This is about the future and how we can become better prepared for our next pandemic that will occur at some point in the years ahead.

I have to give all the credit to Betz Mayer, the project manager for the work that is being accomplished. I really like how she came up with the names and descriptions for three different phases of a pandemic.

The public- and private-sector orientation of the project is also vastly different from other reports.
