  • Last chance to apply for the 2022 SIA Women in Security Forum Scholarship! Through this program open to all SIA members and student members, each awardee will receive $10,000 to use toward SIA learning and development offerings, industry conferences, repayment of student loan debt or other academic/education programs.   • Attention young professionals! Get ready – AcceleRISE 2022 is coming Aug. 1-3 to Austin, Texas. AcceleRISE, hosted by SIA’s RISE community, is the ultimate conference for young talent and newcomers to the security industry who want to take their careers to the next level.   • We recently launched SIA Integration Insights, a series of video content designed to help integrators succeed and grow their business. These engaging, informative videos share key performance integrators and metrics for businesses to know in the areas of hiring, business operations, sales, finance and more.   • SIA is seeking nominations for a volunteer to lead our Standards Committee, the guiding body of SIA’s standards programs, which develops, promotes and advocates for industry standards in a coordinated effort with other standards and specification writing bodies. Know someone who would be great for the role? Nominate them by July 31!
  • We hear you loud and clear, SIA members! SIA thanks all the members who took the time to share their feedback and suggestions through our Membership Satisfaction Survey. Get key takeaways from this year’s survey here, including top industry business concerns and membership benefits.

  • The SIA Cybersecurity Advisory Board (CAB) is proud to present an engaging discussion with chief information security officer (CISO) Nicole Ford (previously of Carrier and currently at Rockwell Automation), along with the CAB’s Min Kyriannis, CEO of Amyna Systems.
