  1. Virtue signaling meets reality. Sadly, this was foretold by many, and yet we still hear some say “We need to set an example.”

    Actually, we did. The US is using energy more efficiently than ever before and our emissions per GDP are falling. The mandates coming out of California will probably bring down emissions, but at the cost of gutting the state’s economy. A pyrrhic victory for the climate at the cost of people’s livelihoods.
