The Uvalde After Action Report

The first of many to come.

The Uvalde school shooting is likely to be one of the most investigated events of its type in the history of mass shootings. The reports to come will focus on more of what did not happen, and why, than what did happen.

As I’ve said before, the information on the shooting and the response continues to drip, drip, drip out piecemeal.

The full (first) report is about 70-plus pages long and comes from the Texas House of Representatives. Sometimes, it behooves us to understand what NOT to do, and this report will document that.

From what I understand up until now, it is a lack of command, control and coordination.

The Uvalde report.
