Severe Weather Across the United States

Storms, flooding and heat.

Severe weather begets disasters of all types. You can read the story below. What is missing from it is any mention of wildfires that are sure to be burning somewhere.

And this is only the beginning of summer when it comes to heat and all the ramifications that ensue from high temperatures. It was just last week that the South took it on the nose with the heat, and now it is more of the upper Midwest that will fry for a few days.

The flooding in Yellowstone looks ugly. The national park doesn’t have an extensive road network leading to it or through it. Wherever there are road damages, that is sure to put a crimp in moving around in and around the park that had 4.86 million visitors and 350,000 vehicles traverse it in 2021. Even when all the roads are “functional,” there are traffic jams.

“Across the US, a day of extreme weather prompts heat warnings, severe flooding and power outages for hundreds of thousands.”
