Attacks on the Electrical Grid May Increase

The infrastructure is an easy target and hard to protect.

Law enforcement always worries about copycat criminals, and unfortunately, those who wish to become “modern day terrorists” have been shown the way to cause havoc with recent attacks.

These are unsophisticated and very effective. The targets of opportunity are everywhere in the urban environment and out in the country. The possibility of getting away with such an attack is high — if you can keep your mouth shut and not brag about it to others. That might be the biggest hazard that a would-be perpetrator could have once they commit the crime.

I’d say the chances of such attacks happening more and more in the future are pretty high.
