- Just released: The 2024 Security Megatrends report is here! - Nominations are open for the 2024 SIA Women in Security Forum (WISF) Power 100! Each year, the SIA WISF Power 100 program showcases 100 women who are role models, leaders, innovators and influencers in the global security industry. Nominate someone to be recognized in the 2024 class of honorees by Jan. 31!
- SIA is launching a new community in 2024 2024 focused on the issues and concerns of veterans and active military members who are in – or are interested in joining – the security industry. Watch a video from SIA’s Ron Hawkins introducing the community and sign up to get involved here.
- The SIA Integration Insights video series has returned! - In December 2023, European Union (EU) lawmakers announced an agreement to finalize Europe’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Act, which will make the EU the first to enact sweeping regulation of AI systems. In this blog, SIA’s Jake Parker shares what the new law means for the security industry.
- Nominations are open for the SIA Board of Directors! SIA’s Nominations Committee welcomes employees of SIA regular member companies in good standing to apply or submit nominations. Nominations are due Jan. 31; learn more and get started here.
- New video from the Security Industry Association (SIA) Proptech Advisory Board! In this video message, SIA Proptech Advisory Board Chair Lee Odess shares an update on the group’s activities and accomplishments and what to look forward to in 2024.
- SIA has named Renee Thompson – director of global sustainability and environmental compliance at Wesco International – as the first-ever chair of SIA’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Advisory Board. Learn more about Thompson, the ESG Advisory Board and how to get involved here.
