DRI encourages Certified Professionals to actively support these valuable partner organizations. Here’s what’s coming up in your region:
Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) New York: ISACA NY has multiple live webinars coming up in October, including Cybersecurity Auditing (Oct. 7), Risk-based Annual IT Audit Planning for CAEs (Oct. 14), Blockchain: Technology, Applications, Risks, and Controls (Oct. 15), and Auditing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans and Program Bootcamp (Oct. 21).
The Resilience Association: The Resilience Association’s Annual Summit at the Institute of Chartered Accounts for England & Wales (ICAEW) in Moorgate, London is Monday, 16 October. As a hybrid event, you can attend in-person for £200 per person, watch via live streaming over Zoom for £50, and/or purchase a recorded copy of the day for £100 (all costs include booking fee).
MidAmerica Contingency Planning Forum (MCPF): Upcoming MCPF webinars include Pick Up Your Business Continuity Program Where You Left Off (Oct. 19), and Rules & Regulations in Business Continuity (Nov. 16).
ACP Tampa Bay: Registration is now open for the Greater Tampa Bay Chapter of the Association of Continuity Professionals 2023 Resilience Conference, to be held Oct. 20 at the Tampa International Airport.
Continuity Professionals of Ohio (CPO): The CPO Fall Summit brings the three regions and others together for a day of learning and sharing, on Oct. 26, at Co-Hatch Polaris in Columbus, OH. This meeting will include four speaker sessions, plus business meeting and happy hour. Tickets are $50 for members, $75 for non-members.
Business Resiliency Professionals Association (BRPA): Oct. 27 is BRPA’s Fall Event, to be held online. The topic is The Third-Party Vendor Management Risk Landscape, with risk executive Valerie Nielsen.
