Ceng Sagnic: TAM-C has experienced rapid growth over the last two decades, continuously expanding its range of client-oriented intelligence solutions. Our company was established in 2003 by security professionals with extensive experience in both government and private sectors. Our unique approach to intelligence, tailored to the specific needs of each client and project, quickly gained traction and allowed us to acquire large-scale projects from world leaders in almost every industry.

From the beginning, TAM-C has maintained two headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Jerusalem, Israel, both of which initially served as boutique workplaces for our subject matter experts. Today, they have evolved into populous, multilingual and cross-disciplinary operation centers. Additionally, we have expanded our operational footprint to include northern Virginia, Tel Aviv and Dubai. Today, continuous growth of our operational footprint is a logistical priority for us as we strive to identify the optimal locations for our new operation centers.

What solutions/services does your business offer in the security industry? And what makes your offerings or your company unique?

CS: TAM-C is renowned for its unique and specialized services that cater to clients, partners and stakeholders across the globe. Our intelligence approach is based on the fundamental understanding that the human analytical element must be positioned between the source of information and the final analysis for intelligence to be actionable; therefore, we offer customized geopolitical intelligence solutions through a lens of critical analysis that takes into account various client-centric factors.

Every client is unique to us, and we pride ourselves on providing dedicated project management teams led by seasoned experts for every project in our portfolio, regardless of its size or complexity. Our teams work relentlessly and around the clock to gather and analyze intelligence, with support from TAM-C’s global security operations center (GSOC). We provide our clients with daily intelligence briefings that are tailored to address their operations, geographical footprint, security concerns and potential risks to their business continuity. Typically, a project under our command produces around 20 unique intelligence reports per day, with some projects generating hundreds per day.

As a leading provider of comprehensive background investigations and risk actor monitoring, TAM-C offers customized intelligence briefings and operational support to our clients in routine and extraordinary times. Our diverse range of services spans from support for simple corporate travel to complex conflict zone extractions.

We take pride in our proven track record of providing unique, high-quality and comprehensive intelligence services to clients across various industries and sectors. At TAM-C, we constantly strive to innovate and adapt to the ever-changing geopolitical landscape, ensuring that our clients receive the best intelligence solutions available in the market.

What is something we might not know about your company – or something new you are doing in security?

CS: Maintaining strict confidentiality is an indispensable part of our operations at TAM-C, which prevents us from disclosing many details about our company and our sophisticated intelligence methodologies deployed globally. Nonetheless, our preeminent distinguishing factor is the active priority of intelligence requirements (PIR) methodology that sets us apart from our competitors.

Our active PIR approach governs that every newly acquired intelligence for a project or a client must contribute to the primary intelligence collection plan. Similar to the compound interest mechanism in banking, our clients begin with a restricted-scale PIR infrastructure that steadily expands at periodic intervals with the addition of fresh intelligence concerning new risk factors and actors we identify, in addition to the constantly evolving security needs in each organization.

We encourage our clients to maintain regular communication with their assigned project managers at TAM-C, to help us gain an in-depth understanding of their changing needs. Nevertheless, our contribution to their PIR infrastructure is often significantly more substantial, as we stay alert and proactive in identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities, thereby providing more comprehensive and proactive risk management solutions.

What is your company’s vision, and what are your goals for the security industry?

CS: Over the past decade, TAM-C has established itself as a talent hub, attracting the industry’s top analysts and fostering a culture of continuous growth and development. Our vision for the future centers on expanding and maintaining this talent pool, enabling us to operate in all major conflict areas across the globe and effectively mitigate threats posed by threat actors. We are committed to investing in the ongoing development of our team members, empowering them to become valuable assets not only to us but also to our clients and the security industry at large.

As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure the security and privacy of our clients’ data, we recently received the ISO 27001 certification. This achievement reflects months of rigorous work towards standardizing our data processing and security protocols to meet the highest industry standards. We are proud to partner with some of the world’s most renowned organizations to deliver joint solutions that further enhance our clients’ security posture.

Our short-term plans include completing the certification process for other industry standards we have already begun, further strengthening our commitment to data security and expanding our global partnerships to diversify our technical portfolio. By remaining at the forefront of our industry, we aim to continue providing unparalleled customized intelligence solutions to our clients around the world.

What are your predictions for the security industry in the short and long term?

CS: Threat actors are highly dynamic and evolve with changes in the global risk landscape. The security industry’s ability to adapt to such sudden changes is a commendable trait. At TAM-C, we not only predict the emergence of more risk actors and threats in the near future, but we are also well-prepared to face these new challenges. We believe that organizations that adopt a hybrid model, utilizing both advanced technologies and human analysts, will lead the future of our industry. TAM-C is at the forefront of this paradigm shift, having pioneered the implementation of this hybrid model. We anticipate that this approach will be adopted by many other organizations in the future, as it enables us to mitigate risks and identify threats more effectively.

What does SIA offer that is most important to you/your company? And what do you most hope to get out of your membership with SIA?

CS: The security industry is unique in that it must adhere to strict confidentiality protocols, which can lead to a dearth of information sharing among industry professionals. However, the Security Industry Association offers a vital chance for leaders and experts in the field to connect in secure settings and leverage the expertise of their peers. We contend that the exceptional opportunity for such networking, paired with SIA’s industry advocacy, is crucial for advancing professionalism and standardization across all security organizations and practitioners.
