In mid-2010, prior to IcX selling to FLIR, a few key employees and I bought out PureTech Systems from IcX. This may sound like science fiction, but neural nets are already being used for a vast number of purposes, such as to predict the stock market, to assess insurance risks and for airplane equipment preventative maintenance.
