In early 2005, Pure and I formed a new subsidiary of Pure Technologies and named it PureTech Systems Inc. This may sound like science fiction, but neural nets are already being used for a vast number of purposes, such as to predict the stock market, to assess insurance risks and for airplane equipment preventative maintenance.
